In Colombina, sustainability is one of our strategic objectives, in this sense we worry about managing the expectations of our stakeholders to create trustworthy and especially long-lasting relationships. For this reason, we have been involved in a process of consolidating our strategy, focusing in three lines of work: provide our consumers with products that support a healthy lifestyle, promote environmental friendly practices in our production plants and contribute to the sustainable development of the communities.

In order to achieve this, we have set goals focused in the construction of a global market that’s more stable, fair and inclusive; in the same way contributing to the development of the regions in which we have a presence, being a growing source of welfare and opportunity for all of our labor workforce and its families.

Thanks to these strategies, during the year 2010 the company received various recognitions, among them: Award of Corporate Social Responsibility “LAZOS”, Condecoration ICBF and its program Right to Happinnes, and Award PTAK in the category “Operational Excellence”, all of which serve to demonstrate the commitment that Colombina has with the country and the regions in which it operates.
